The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), and Vice President Yemi Osinbajo have adopted the safe greeting style which is done to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

MyNigeria.com reported that coronavirus which first broke out in Wuhan, China, with a death toll of about 8000 people was yesterday declared a global pandemic by the World Health Organization.

Countries around the world have since been doing everything possible to ensure the virus is stopped from spreading.

One of the measures involves not shaking hands during greeting which has seen the adoption of a new method of greeting as done by Buhari and Osinbajo during a dinner in Abuja.
