Atiku gets second dose of coronavirus vaccine

Former Vice President and Presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Congress (PDP) in the 2015 elections, Atiku Abubakar has received the second dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine.

The was confirmed by his media aide, Paul Ibe.

Recall, Atiku Abubakar who is currently in Dubai received the first shot, January 6, becoming the first Nigerian to do so.

“H.E @atiku earlier today took his second dose of Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine. He had earlier had the first jab on the 6th of January,” Ibe tweeted.

The Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine has been approved by several countries, including the United States and the United Kingdom, The Nations reports.

Nigeria will get its first shipment of the vaccine in February, according to the chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum Kayode Fayemi.
