Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, has warned that any Biafrans slain by Nigerian security forces must be compensated.

Nnamdi Kanu said this while uploading photos of people from the region who were allegedly shot and killed by security forces.

The IPOB leader stated that his party is now prepared to capture Biafra by force because the government has refused to hold a referendum, which he believes is the simplest way to proceed.

“Our request is straightforward. Give us a referendum so that the people can decide their fate in this Fulani-run zoo known as Nigeria,” Kanu wrote on Facebook.

“However, if a referendum, which is the simplest method, cannot be guaranteed, we will take it by force.

“We will never be able to live in a country founded by a white guy for his personal benefit, which transforms us into slaves. Never, ever! Our forefathers accepted it, but the current generation does not.

“Simply hold a referendum and let the people's will prevail.

“We'll continue to triumph in any alternative they provide to us in the future in the same manner we've triumphed in the past.”

“I hope the half-baked graduates yapping on media are taking note of it!” Kanu said, referring to the killing of certain IPOB members in Imo and other parts of the Southeast.

“What these janjaweed must realize is that now is not the moment for us to cry out to the world.

“There must be retaliation for every Biafran you kill. With the heads of their killers Eyeforaneye, we will avenge their deaths.”
