‘Tenant don turn landlord’ - Wild reactions as Kizz Daniel signs ex-label boss Emperor Geezy

Popular Nigerian singer Oluwatobiloba Daniel Anidugbe who is widely known as Kizz Daniel has announced that Emperor Geezy, the former head of his record label, will take over as CEO of his label, Flyboy Inc.

Recall that Emperor Geezy, the head of G-Worldwide Entertainment, helped Kizz Daniel first become well-known.

They worked together to create Kizz Daniel's debut album, which was released and featured popular songs like "Woju" and "Laye," catapulting him to fame.

Kizz Daniel's relationship with G-Worldwide Entertainment, however, soured in 2017, which resulted in a widely publicized court dispute over his contract. Eventually, he left the label and started Flyboy Inc., his own label.

The singer recently disclosed that he has resigned as the CEO of Flyboy Inc. and named Emperor Geezy to fill the job during an interview on Way Up With Angela Yee on New York's Power 105.1 FM.

He also revealed that Pryme, a brand-new musician, has been signed to his record label as well.

The news came as a surprise to many social media users who have shared varied opinions about it.
