‘I'd rather die lonely than marry 30 years old lady’ – Speed Darlington

Nigerian rapper Darlington Okoye, better known by his stage name Speed Darlington has pledged never to wed a woman older than 30.

The divisive rapper said this in a widely shared internet video, emphasizing that he would prefer to die alone than wed any woman in her 30s.

Speed Darlington stated that he would rather raise a family with a 30-year-old woman than donate all of his estates to charity.

The artist explained his choice by stating that despite being financially successful, older women never help their husbands pay the expenses.

Speed Darlington continued by saying that, in contrast to America and Europe, men are solely longing for wealthy women in Nigeria.

He said: “I would rather die lonely than marry a 30-year-old woman. I prefer to sell all my things [properties] give it to charity than start a family with a woman in her 30s then keep enough money for the coffin.

“Most men in Africa do not care about rich woman, it is only in America and Europe that rich woman has levels. Sometimes in America, many guys don’t care about a rich woman because the woman will always claim her money is for her. She no dey bring her money for the family only the man dey pay bills.”
