‘Don’t pull an APC on us’ - Concerns as GWR says it’s yet to review evidence of Hilda’s progress

Social media users have expressed concern over whether Hilda Effiong Bassey who is better known as Hilda Baci will break the record for "longest cooking time by an individual" as they cross their fingers for her to do so.

Many people questioned why Hilda's progress and how far she had come had not been mentioned on the Guinness World Records (GWR) official page.

Guinness World Records responded to concerns expressed on social media by saying, "We're aware of this amazing record attempt, but we need to review all the evidence first before officially confirming a record."

The response made by GWR was not well received by some social media users, who insisted that they should make sure the results were free of misappropriation and irregularities.

They pleaded with them to be open and declare Hilda the new holder of the title of "longest cooking time by an individual."
