‘Devil is a liar’ - Banky W reacts to allegations of cheating on his wife, Adesua with Niyiola

Nigerian singer-cum-clergyman, Bankole Wellington, popularly known as Banky W, has reacted to the cheating allegations against him.

Recall that a controversial blog, Gistlover, had insinuated that Banky is cheating on his wife, actress Adesua Etomi-Wellington with his ex-signee, Niyola.

But speaking to his congregation at the Waterbrooks church in Lagos on Sunday, the Banky stated that the rumours were created by satanic elements who don’t want his members to listen to his Sunday preaching.

He declared that the devil is a liar and assured his congregation that God was in control.

Banky stated, “The devil really didn’t want you to hear this message. In fact, he didn’t want us to enter into this series at all. There was an attack at the beginning, but here we are. But the devil is a liar. And God is in control.”

Preaching on the topic, ‘The Prison Of Pornography’, Banky W thanked his wife for supporting him during his struggle with porn addiction.

“If I don’t thank God for anything in my life, I thank God for this woman [pointing at Adesua],” he said.
