Former Big Brother Naija star and media personality Natacha Akide, popularly known as Tacha, has revealed that while she is currently in a committed relationship, she will not publicly unveil or claim her partner until they are officially engaged.

Speaking during an appearance on the Morayo Afolabi Show, the reality star explained that her decision to keep her love life away from social media stems from the unpredictable nature of modern dating.

Tacha noted that she wants to avoid the awkwardness of introducing a partner to the public only for the relationship to end later.

"I would say that he’s somebody I like, but who knows? I could be on the show next week and say I’m not in a relationship, break up and come back, but for now I’m in a relationship," Tacha said.

The media personality admitted that despite the public exposure of the entertainment industry, having a private emotional anchor helps her navigate isolation.

"In this industry, you need that one person because it is always lonely at the top," she added.

Outlining the qualities of her ideal man, Tacha stated that her partner must be hardworking, financially stable, devoted to God, and hold a quiet demeanor in public while remaining open and expressive with her in private.

Since her breakout appearance on Big Brother Naija Season 4 (Pepper Dem), Tacha has built a formidable digital presence, transition into radio broadcasting, brand ambassadorships, and entrepreneurship while strictly guarding her private life.
