Social media influencer Daniel Regha has slammed Igbo traders for staging a 'China Must Go' protest in Lagos.

MyNigeria learnt that the protest took place at the Trade Fair market against Chinese businessmen.

According to the Igbos, the Chinese wholesalers are now selling wares directly to consumers by bypassing retailers

Reacting, Daniel Regha said such must have arisen from the exploitative tactics of the Igbo traders.

He shared on social media, "Igbo traders have reportedly staged a protest in Lagos market, because Chinese nationals are selling products directly to consumers as retailers; Imagine the audacity. How utterly pathet:c. Now if the Igbo traders weren't exploiting consumers/buyers by selling at a higher price than expected, they won't be having an issue with the Chinese.

"How dare you stage a protest against people who you import almost everything from to keep your business going? Now if China decides to do the same and stop trading with them as a clap-back to this nαnsense, it will called discrimination.

"If you can't compete, then leave the market or business. Too many times have Nigerians been exploited by fellow Nigerians in the name of doing business and trying to gain unfair profit. The govt should even take an action against those protesting, they shouldn't add to our international problems."
