Afrobeats icon David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has sparked laughter across social media after sharing a candid video demanding that his logistics manager and close associate, Israel Afeare (Israel DMW), cover the cost of fuel and pizza during a personal outing.

In clips uploaded to the music star's Instagram Story on Wednesday, September 10, the pair were seen inside Davido's newly acquired luxury Mercedes-Maybach parked at a local filling station.

Teasing his long-time aide in Pidgin English, Davido turned to Israel and challenged him to handle the routine expenses for once rather than relying on him to foot every bill.

"You no fit buy me gas, abi? Why you dey shake? $100 fuel," Davido pressed playfully, questioning why he always pays for their meals and gas before making it clear that Israel was taking care of the tab this time around.

In the video, a visibly flustered Israel DMW could be seen reaching into his pockets and pulling out cash to hand over, to the amusement of fellow entourage members inside the vehicle.

Israel Afeare has served as Davido’s logistics manager for several years and is known for his hyper-energetic loyalty and public praise of the singer (often chanting "OBO!" during appearances).

Their banter and employer-employee rapport frequently go viral on West African social platforms.
