Nigerian content creator and streamer Carter Efe has revealed how he was scammed of $100,000 by a fraudulent promoter claiming they could secure him a U.S. visa to attend American streamer Kai Cenat’s "Streamer University."

Speaking on a podcast during his recent trip to the United Kingdom, Carter Efe recounted the excitement he felt when top American streamer Kai Cenat initially reached out to him on Instagram, admitting he "wanted to run mad" from the surprise.

However, that excitement quickly turned into a nightmare when an alleged U.S.-based promoter contacted him, promising to bring him and his team to the United States before the FIFA World Cup for $100,000.

"Somebody just messaged me from America. He said he's a promoter that wanted to bring my team to the U.S. before the World Cup. He said he was going to use a hundred thousand dollars to do it. He was just saying all sorts of things. Foolish me, I paid and we were waiting."

Despite printing promotional flyers in anticipation of the trip, the streamer realized he had been duped after no embassy appointment came, even as the promoter claimed the funds had been fully spent.

Fuming over the massive financial loss, Carter Efe issued a direct curse to the scammer.

"If you are watching this video, God will punish you. And if I enter the U.S., you will see."
