The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) has urged all state governors and executives to hold a prayer session for the late Nollywood veteran actor, Taiwo Hassan a.k.a Ogogo.
Ogogo died on Sunday after a battle with Stage 4 Cancer. He has since been buried in his hometown in Ogun State.
To honour the deceased, TAMPAN President Amusan Bolaji, a.k.a Mr Latin, advised state governors to hold a prayer session for him at their next State Meeting.
He said in a statement, "The prayer should focus on seeking God’s face, forgiveness of our sins, His protection over the living, and preservation of our members from death, sickness and destruction. We should also pray for the forgiveness and peaceful repose of our departed colleagues.
"All State Governors are kindly requested to ensure compliance.
"May God protect and preserve us all, forgive our sins, and grant the departed eternal rest. Amen."
