A former bouncer to Afrobeats star Kizz Daniel has lifted the lid on an alleged encounter between music superstar Wizkid and a serving Nigerian governor, claiming the Grammy-winning artiste was handed a bag stuffed with dollars during a private meeting.

Kelvin Power made the disclosure in a video while recounting his experiences working as a celebrity bouncer and the behind-the-scenes moments that rarely make it into the public domain.

According to Kelvin, an unnamed governor once extended a private invitation to Wizkid at his residence, where he presented the Afrobeats icon with a bag containing a significant sum in foreign currency.

"Wizkid went to visit a particular governor and they gave Wizkid a bag full of dollars," Kelvin said.

What happened next, he claimed, caught those present off guard. Rather than pocketing the money, Wizkid reportedly passed the entire bag to his bodyguard without touching a single note.

"Wizkid didn't touch a dime. He just passed it to his bodyguard," Kelvin said.

The gesture, according to Kelvin, changed the bodyguard's life entirely, to the point where the individual eventually left Nigeria altogether.

"Today the bodyguard is no longer in Nigeria, but he'll never forget his helper," Kelvin said.

Kelvin did not reveal the identity of the governor, the bodyguard, the amount of money in the bag, or when the alleged encounter took place.
