Controversial Nigerian street-hop singer Habeeb Okikiola, popularly known as Portable, has declared his support for Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, endorsing both leaders for second terms in office.

In a viral social media video, the 'Zazuu Zeh' hitmaker openly embraced his involvement in political campaigns, identifying himself as a supporter of current officeholders who he believes are delivering results.

"I am a city boy. A child of Tinubu. Tinubu is going again, he is going to be our president again. Adeleke is going again in Osun. He is going to be governor again," Portable stated.

Defending his political stance, the singer expressed confidence in Governor Adeleke's administration in Osun State, citing infrastructural development and public satisfaction.

"I’m rooting for Governor Adeleke & President Ahmed Tinubu, they’re winning another tenure. I’m a political tool & I am proud of it. I don’t support losers, that’s why I’m supporting Governor Adeleke in Osun State cuz I see what they are using the money to do & the people of Osun State are happy," he added.

Portable’s endorsement of Governor Adeleke marks a notable shift in his political loyalties in Osun State.

During the 2022 Osun governorship election, Portable was actively contracted by the All Progressives Congress (APC) to campaign for former Governor Gboyega Oyetola—putting him in direct campaign opposition to pop star Davido, who championed his uncle Ademola Adeleke’s victorious PDP bid.
