Former Big Brother Africa housemate Bayo Adetomiwa Okoh has passed away, triggering a wave of tributes across the entertainment industry.

Media personality Matilda Duncan announced the tragic news on Saturday, August 8, via social media, sharing photos of the late reality TV star. The cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Expressing deep grief over the sudden loss, Duncan lamented the frequent deaths within the creative sector.

"Please God, what is happening? This is too much. One death after another. I am so sorry. This part called death. It's the worst," she wrote.

Bayo Adetomiwa Okoh earned his spot in broadcast history as a contestant on the inaugural season of Big Brother Africa in 2003. He spent 91 days in the house before becoming the sixth person evicted during the groundbreaking season.

As one of the original cast members who helped launch the franchise across the continent, Okoh remained a memorable figure for early fans of the show.

Following the announcement, fans and colleagues took to social media to share their condolences and pay tribute to the late TV personality:
