Media personality Daddy Freeze has weighed in on allegations that fake US dollar notes were sprayed during TikTok star Peller's lavish wedding, claiming that genuine billionaires would never engage in such an act.

Speaking during a livestream, Daddy Freeze claimed that the practice of spraying fake dollars is associated with some Nollywood actors and celebrities rather than wealthy businessmen.

"They say people sprayed fake dollar notes. It is Nollywood actors and celebrities that will spray fake dollars. The real billionaires will not give you fake dollars. Chief Priest won't give you fake dollars," he said.

The broadcaster also revealed that he deliberately keeps his distance from many Nigerian celebrities, explaining that he prefers not to be closely associated with them.

"That's why I don't roll with them. I don't know how many Nigerian celebrities you see me with. I cut them off," he stated.

According to Daddy Freeze, he came to realise that many celebrities operate with different interests, prompting him to limit his interactions with them.

"I just realised these people are in a business. You can see them on my live one or two times, but I will be sitting there drinking," he added.

He further noted that if he were to spend time with any celebrity, it would have to be someone of the calibre of Afrobeats superstar Davido.

"If I am to hang out with any celeb, it has to be somebody of Davido's level," he said.

Daddy Freeze's comments come after Peller, in a livestream alleged that some guests had sprayed fake dollar notes at his marriage ceremony which took place in Lagos, Nigeria.
