Social commentator Solomon Buchi has faulted the abortion of children diagnosed with Down syndrome, describing the practice as deeply wrong.

In an Instagram post, Buchi argued that if society truly believes every human being deserves equal dignity and value regardless of race, s3x, or other characteristics, the same principle should apply to babies with disabilities.

He maintained that every life has worth and should be protected.

He said, “Aborting a child because they have Down syndrome is deeply wrong. If we truly believe that every human being deserves equal dignity and value, regardless of race, sex, or any other characteristic, why should that principle not extend to babies with disabilities? Every life has worth”.
