Social media activist VeryDarkMan has called for urgent attention following the reported disappearance of Livinus Nwosu, a member of the Ratel Movement, in Bayelsa State.

According to reports circulating online, Nwosu was allegedly taken away by unidentified armed men while carrying out voter sensitisation activities aimed at encouraging residents to obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

The situation reportedly came to light after his wife was unable to reach him and subsequently alerted members of the Ratel Movement and VeryDarkMan.

Reacting to the development, VeryDarkMan suggested that the alleged incident could be linked to Nwosu's voter education efforts, which focused on promoting civic participation and discouraging vote-buying ahead of future elections.

The activist expressed concern that such actions, if true, could undermine grassroots political awareness and discourage citizens from actively participating in the democratic process.

He also revealed plans to seek clarification from security agencies in Bayelsa State and indicated that legal support may be provided if necessary.

In addition, VeryDarkMan used the opportunity to criticise the current administration, arguing that more attention should be given to issues affecting ordinary Nigerians.

As of the time of this report, no official statement has been issued by security authorities regarding Nwosu's whereabouts or the circumstances surrounding the alleged incident.

The claims remain unverified, with many Nigerians calling for transparency and a thorough investigation into the matter.
