President of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Youth Wing, Pastor Emmanuel Iren, says Nigeria must overcome its challenges and fulfil its potential.
Iren made the statement in an Instagram post on Tuesday after a courtesy visit to military personnel in Lagos.
The lead pastor of Celebration Church International said the visit gave him insight into the military’s commitment to the nation.
“Courtesy visit to the Military Watch men of Lagos yesterday. I felt their heart for the Nation. Good men!” he wrote.
He stressed the need for both prayer and practical action in nation-building. “In prayer we will pray. In action we will act. Nigeria MUST work,” he stated.
The PFN Youth President also announced plans for a humanitarian initiative to support vulnerable Nigerians.
He said the youth wing will soon call for volunteers to help execute the project.
“The PFN Youth wing will be asking for volunteers to help us execute an idea that will go a long way to help vulnerable people. When we call you, please answer,” he added.
The post comes amid growing calls for collaboration between faith groups, security agencies, and civil society to tackle social and humanitarian challenges.
