Ogun State Governor Dapo Abiodun and Seyi Tinubu, son of President Bola Tinubu, arrived at the Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun State, on Friday.
The festival featured traditional attire and cultural pageantry, with groups entering in flowing agbadas, geles, and beaded accessories.
Held annually on the third day after Eid-el-Kabir, Ojude Oba draws thousands of guests, including politicians, celebrities, and members of the Nigerian diaspora, to celebrate Ijebu culture and identity.
This year’s edition is the first since the death of Oba Sikiru Adetona in July 2025.
He reigned as Awujale of Ijebuland for 65 years.
