Social media critic Martins Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has raised fresh concerns over the health of businessman and crypto entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejirika, better known as BLord, during his detention at Kuje Correctional Centre.

According to VeryDarkMan, BLord, who has spent nearly two weeks in custody, was reportedly moved to another section of the prison after falling ill.

On Sunday, April 12, 2026, VDM shared a WhatsApp message on his Instagram story alleging that the businessman was transferred from a section identified as “Egypt 2” to a segregation unit for closer medical observation.

“Them don move Blord from Egypt 2 to segregation… Egypt 2 na the Ajegunle part of Kuje prison where armed robbers and other criminals dey stay… they had to move him because he was sick,” the message read in part.

By reposting the message, VDM claimed he had been aware of BLord’s health challenges since April 6. He also appeared to take a swipe at activist Omoyele Sowore, who had earlier suggested that BLord was treating his detention as a period of rest.

Sowore had reportedly stated that BLord described his time in custody as a rare opportunity to relax after an intense work schedule prior to his arrest.

Reacting to the latest development, VDM hinted that he may no longer oppose any potential bail application for the detained businessman.

“Since on the 6th we knew Blord fell ill… na why we dey laugh Sowore as he say Blord dey rest… however, as it stands now… we are willing to temper mercy,” he wrote.
