Omowunmi Aloba, widow of late singer Mohbad, has shared a heartfelt message for their son Liam on his birthday, expressing her love and commitment to his well-being.

“Happy birthday to my heartbeat, you mean the world to me Eyinimofeoluwa and I’m so proud to be your parent. I’d walk through fire, cross oceans and do absolutely anything to make sure you are safe and happy.

“I will always be your biggest cheerleader and your safest harbour. I live for your smile and I would do anything to protect you. Happy birthday to the best son I could ever ask for. Love you with all my heart my Lily,” she wrote on Instagram.

The announcement came amid a paternity dispute between Omowunmi and Mohbad’s father, Joseph Aloba, who has sought a DNA test to determine Liam’s biological father.

Magistrate Adefisoye Sonuga ordered a DNA test to determine the paternity of Liam, following an application by the singer’s father, Joseph Aloba.

Recall that Mohbad died in September 2023, leaving behind a legacy in music and a complex family situation.
