Actor Mofe Duncan has announced the death of his father, Josbert Thomas Kofi Duncan, who passed away on March 10, 2026.

In a heartfelt Instagram post, Duncan expressed gratitude for his father’s life, describing him as his “Champion” and “sweet old pops”.

Though saddened by the loss, Duncan said he found comfort in the belief that his father is now an angel watching over him.

“And then my Daddy slept. My sweet old pops has gone to be with the Lord.

My Champion has transcended. THANK YOU, DADDY… TRULY. I will celebrate you. My heart is broken, but my heart smiles cause now I have another angel watching over me, and that angel was once my Daddy”, he wrote.
