Renowned gospel singer Busola Oke, best known for her hit ‘Eleyele’, recently raised concerns among fans during a heartfelt live TikTok session.

During the broadcast, she was overwhelmed with emotion, tearfully sharing her struggles within the music industry.

Apologising to her supporters, Oke admitted she was struggling to cope with the increasing pressures of her career. In the viral video, she lamented the brutal realities of today’s entertainment world, emphasising that talent alone no longer ensures success.

“To my fans, I’m sorry. I never planned to do this, but I can’t take this anymore. I’m done. Good music doesn’t sell anymore,” she lamented.

Her remarks highlighted emotional and financial exhaustion, as she questioned how an artist could find peace of mind without basic stability.

“How can you eat when there’s no food? How can you drive when there’s no car? How can you be at peace when there’s no peace?” she asked.

The singer known as "Eleyele," who gained fame through spiritually uplifting tracks like Ogo Tuntun, Asoro Ma Tase, and Adaba, also revealed feelings of being forsaken by former collaborators.

After the broadcast, social media platforms were awash with prayers and encouraging messages from supporters. Many praised her as a guiding light in gospel music and encouraged her to stay strong during this challenging time.
