Gambian actress Princess Shyngle has stirred conversation online, saying women in relationships or marriages should feel ashamed if they ask others for money.

Speaking on Instagram, Shyngle said partners are expected to provide financial support, and struggling should be reserved for single women.

She expressed frustration at receiving messages from married women or those in relationships asking for money.

“Struggling is meant for single women only. If you have a partner, that word should not exist in your vocabulary,” she said.

Shyngle contrasted this with single women, highlighting their daily grind without the support of a partner. She urged women in relationships to stop sending her direct messages asking for money.
