Popular actor and social commentator Lege Miami has reacted to a viral video allegedly showing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu stumbling during a ceremonial reception in Turkey, describing the footage as fake and AI-generated.

The clip, which began circulating on Tuesday, captured a moment from an official welcome where the president appeared to briefly lose his balance before quickly regaining his footing. The event reportedly continued without interruption.

As the video spread across social media and sparked concerns about President Tinubu’s health, Lege Miami addressed the issue on his social media platforms, firmly rejecting the footage's authenticity.

According to him, the video was created using artificial intelligence and deliberately shared to mislead Nigerians ahead of the next general election.

“Mr President didn’t fall,” he said. “That video going around is AI. It was created by the opposition because of the coming election. Our president didn’t fall.”
