The family of late Nollywood actress and filmmaker, Allwell Ademola, has announced details of her burial arrangements.
The information was contained in a statement shared online by the family, outlining activities planned to honour and celebrate the life of the deceased actress. Eyes Of Lagos reports,
According to the statement, a Service of Songs will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2026, followed by a candlelight procession.
The Service of Songs is scheduled to run from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, after which preparations for the candlelight procession will commence.
The candlelight walk is expected to take place between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm, with the route reportedly set from LTV 8 to Oregun Junction and back to LTV.
An Artiste Night is also expected to follow immediately after the procession, with closing remarks slated for 11:00 pm.
The family further disclosed that attendees at the Service of Songs will be provided with customised memorial T-shirts at the venue.
Burial Ceremony and Dress Code
The burial ceremony is scheduled for Friday, January 9, 2026.
According to the family, the burial service will hold by 10:00 am at Atan Cemetery, Yaba, Lagos.
They stated that the official dress code for the burial is a white shirt paired with jeans, adding that white remains the approved colour for the occasion.
In the statement, the family expressed gratitude to colleagues, fans, and well-wishers for their support, prayers, and solidarity since the passing of the actress.
They thanked everyone who has stood by them during what they described as a painful period, while offering prayers for the repose of her soul.
