Nollywood actress and social media personality, Tonto Dikeh, has shared a piece of advice she says has helped her maintain financial stability, urging women to adopt a giving mindset in 2026.

In a post shared on her social media platforms, Tonto advised her followers to occasionally gift people within their means, particularly those she described as “Odogwu people”, influential individuals or well-connected personalities in their networks.

“You see those Odogwu people you have in your contacts, this 2026, sometimes go and get a gift within your capacity and give to them. Don’t always expect them to be the ones gifting. There are thousands of people in their DMs asking for help. You can be different by gifting them instead. So anytime you might need help, they may come to your rescue,” she wrote.

The actress added that this principle has worked for her personally, describing it as a “magic formula” that helps maintain her financial flow.

Her message comes as she encourages women to rethink their approach to networking and financial growth, highlighting the importance of generosity and reciprocity in building meaningful connections that could be beneficial in the long term.
