Popular skit maker and live streamer Carter Efe has shared a disappointing encounter with Grammy-winning artist Burna Boy, revealing how a moment of excitement quickly turned into an “unpleasant” experience.
During a recent livestream, Carter Efe described sighting the Afro-fusion star in person and feeling as though he was being acknowledged. However, the interaction was cut short before it could even begin.
Carter Efe claimed that while he was at the same location as the “African Giant,” Burna Boy seemed to notice him. “Do you know I saw Burna Boy yesterday? I saw Burna Boy yesterday and he kept staring at me,” he told his viewers.
Believing the path was clear for a greeting, the skit maker attempted to move closer. The situation shifted instantly when Burna Boy’s security detail intervened:
“But his bouncers bounced me when I tried to approach him. Their security is too tight.”
Carter Efe admitted that the rejection by the security team left him feeling hurt and frustrated by the lack of access. “Ah God, I felt bad,” he confessed.
