Popular social media commentator, Martins Vincent Otse, who is popularly known as VeryDarkMan has taken a swipe at the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, over his public confrontation with naval officer, Lieutenant A.M. Yerima.

The FCT Minister and Lieutenant Yerima were at loggerheads after the latter denied the former and his entourage access to a disputed piece of land in the Gaduwa District of Abuja.

After an intense standoff, the FCT Minister accused the officer of acting with impunity.

The actions and inactions of both men have generated intense debate on social media, with mixed reactions—some criticizing the Minister and others commending him.

Wading into the controversy, VeryDarkMan stated that the FCT Minister ought to understand his role as a public servant.

“Nyesom Wike’s wings are growing too big; he is becoming unstoppable. He needs to understand his position as a public servant,” he said.
