Sammy West, the brother of Nollywood actress Regina Daniels, has been granted bail for ₦5 million after spending several days in police custody.
The social media personality was reportedly granted bail on Monday, November 10, 2025, following his arrest in Lagos a week earlier.
According to reports, Sammy was arrested on the orders of Senator Ned Nwoko, Regina Daniels’ husband, over allegations of his involvement in the couple’s ongoing marital dispute.
Sammy was first remanded in Keffi Prison by a Dutse Magistrate Court before being transferred to Suleja Prison, where he remained for about seven days before his bail was approved.
Confirming his release, his elder brother, who goes by @Sweezzy1 on Instagram, expressed gratitude to Nigerians for their support, writing:
“Sammy, you are a great man. Bail has been granted! Nigerians, thank you.”
The development comes amid heightened drama surrounding the Nwoko-Daniels household, following recent allegations and public exchanges involving family members.
