Nollywood star Angela Okorie has joined the list of celebrities showing support for Regina Daniels amid the actress’s ongoing marital crisis with her husband, Senator Ned Nwoko.

Following in the footsteps of Mercy Johnson, who earlier spoke out in defense of Regina, Angela put aside her past differences with the mother of two to publicly stand by her.

Reacting to a post shared by Nollywood producer Stanley Ontop about the situation, Angela commented:

“Chai! Justice for my baby Gina. We love you regardless.”

This show of support comes years after both actresses had a public fallout in June 2020 over Mercy Johnson.

Their feud escalated when Angela criticized Regina’s marriage, alleging she married for wealth and saying, “You married a man who’s supposed to be your great-grandfather.”

Regina had responded at the time, leading to an online exchange that lasted several days. Angela eventually apologized to both Ned Nwoko and Mercy Johnson, bringing the conflict to an end.

Now, years later, her renewed show of love for Regina Daniels has stirred warm reactions online, with many praising her for choosing empathy over past grudges.
