Nigerian singer Gabriel Oche Amanyi, popularly known as Terry G, has stirred up controversy after openly declaring that he practices devil worship.
In a video shared on his social media page, which has since been deleted, the “Free Madness” crooner addressed rumors circulating about his death, assuring fans that he is alive and in good health.
Terry G said his phone had been buzzing nonstop as people tried to confirm whether he was truly dead. He urged those spreading the false news to stop, emphasizing that he is “very fine and healthy.”
The artiste also used the opportunity to clarify a resurfaced clip from his appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, where he had admitted that as a secular musician, his music serves the **devil rather than God.
He explained:
“My phone has been buzzing since morning. People have been calling to check up on me because of that R.I.P. post. Please stop spreading that news; I’m doing very fine.
“And about the trending video, yes, I said it — I am not a gospel musician. I’m a secular musician. We sing for the devil, we praise the devil. We don’t glorify God, and that’s our business.
“You people didn’t know before? The devil made me successful. I’m just clearing your conscience. Take it like that — God bless you, I’m still very sound and healthy.”
