The online feud between social media critic VeryDarkMan and crypto entrepreneur Linus Williams Ifejika, popularly known as Blord, has taken yet another dramatic turn — this time over a luxury car.
Just days after Blord proudly unveiled his newly acquired Mercedes-Benz S500, claiming he bought it to promote Portable’s diss track aimed at VeryDarkMan, the outspoken activist has fired back with fresh allegations.
In a new video shared on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, VeryDarkMan accused Blord of trying too hard to prove his wealth. He questioned the authenticity of the car, hinting that it might not be a brand-new model as claimed.
According to him, the businessman may have upgraded an older 2007 Mercedes S-Class to look like a 2023 edition.
To back his claim, he featured a car dealer during his livestream, who confirmed that such upgrades are indeed possible.
Mocking Blord’s constant show of wealth, VeryDarkMan said:
“With the kind of person he is, I won’t be surprised if he took an old model to a car stand and they helped him package it like a new one. This guy just dey lie too much.”
He went further to challenge Blord to “**buy a private jet**” if he truly wanted to prove his billionaire status, calling him **“broke and desperate.”**
“Blord, I saw the 2023 Benz you said you bought to show me levels. I almost believed it until I made a few calls. You’re just desperate at this point. If you want me to respect you, go buy a jet,” he added.
This latest exchange adds another fiery chapter to their long-running social media rivalry, which began months ago after VeryDarkMan accused Blord of shady dealings through his fintech app, Billpoint, and misleading Nigerians with overpriced gadgets.
With both men refusing to back down, their clash, which started as a business exposé, has now evolved into one of Nigeria’s most entertaining online rivalries.
