Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has weighed in on the ongoing marital crisis between her colleague Regina Daniels and her billionaire husband, Senator Ned Nwoko, urging Regina to leave if the allegations of domestic violence are true.

In a candid post shared via her Instagram page, Jegede stated that violence should never be tolerated in any form of relationship, regardless of who is at fault. She emphasized that self-preservation should come before public image or wealth.

“Regina, you are still very young. If there’s violence in your marriage, please carry your bag and go,” Yvonne wrote. “There’s no sugarcoating when violence is involved — whether man or woman.”

The actress further encouraged Regina Daniels to prioritize her mental health and the well-being of her two sons, adding that no marriage is worth enduring pain or abuse.

Her statement has since stirred mixed reactions online, with many fans praising her for speaking out boldly, while others argued that celebrity marriages should be handled privately.

Jegede’s comment comes amid the viral fallout between Regina and Ned Nwoko, after the actress allegedly accused her husband of domestic violence, a claim the senator denied, instead accusing Regina of drug abuse.
