Afrobeats queen and Award-winning superstar Tiwa Savage has shared details of some of the most lavish and unexpected gestures she has ever received from admirers, including a Nigerian politician.

In a recent interview, Tiwa was asked to recall the grandest expression of affection she had ever experienced. Her response sparked both amusement and curiosity among fans.

According to Tiwa, a prominent Nigerian politician, once sent a private jet to pick her up while she was pregnant.

She recounted, “He sent a plane to pick me up while I was pregnant. Obviously, I didn’t go.”

The singer explained that the incident happened years ago after a performance with the Mavin Records crew.

The unnamed politician reportedly sent his Special Assistant and a private aircraft just to bring her to him. Despite the glamorous gesture, Tiwa said she declined the invitation.

In the same interview, the Afrobeats queen also recalled another extravagant experience — when someone gifted her a Range Rover on her birthday.

However, she revealed that she had to return the car because it arrived on the same day her now ex-husband proposed to her.

“Someone bought me a Range Rover for my birthday, which I returned. It was on the day that my now ex-husband proposed to me. I didn’t know it was going to be presented that same day,” she said.

Tiwa described the situation as both awkward and emotional, noting that it coincided with a significant turning point in her personal life.
