Josephina Otabor's sister's partner, Mr. Daniel Adebo, has finally spoken up following Ruth's unfortunate passing after she was hit by a Dangote truck.

Phyna had mentioned earlier that the late Ruth had a partner, and although they had a child, they were not married. She later confirmed that Ruth was a breastfeeding mother and had an 8-month-old child, which led many to wonder why her partner had remained silent all along.

In a viral video, an online user, who claimed to have interviewed Daniel, shared what he said on social media. Daniel alleged that he was sidelined in decisions concerning his bedridden partner despite being the one providing for her and the children.

Adebo explained that he had been compelled to seek Phyna’s permission before visiting Ruth in Lagos, where she is currently receiving care. Backing his claims, Adebo insisted that he has been solely responsible for Ruth’s upkeep, including paying tuition and school fees.

Mr Daniel said: “The reason I didn’t respond when Phyna called me irresponsible is because of my woman. I don’t want her to wake up and see me involved in any drama. All I am after is her recuperation. I want to come to Lagos to be by her side, but they said I must take permission from Phyna. I have all the chats and messages I have been sending to her family. I went back to Auchi when she was taken to Lagos."

“I have been the one paying her tuition for three years. It wasn’t until two months ago, when she was preparing for graduation, that Phyna sent her a gown and a wig. I have been the one taking care of her and even the son she had before I met her, and we also have a child together."

"If I am lying, Ruth’s mother is my witness, unless they have influenced her to say otherwise. I challenge Phyna to post screenshots of any money she has sent Ruth in the last three years. If she has, I will bow my head in shame."
