Popular Nigerian afrobeats singer, Omah Stanley Didia, better known as Omah Lay, has sparked reactions online to steer clear of "overly religious" individuals.

The singer shared the message on his Instagram story, posting two shirtless images of himself, accompanied by striking captions.

In the first post, while vibing to Wozkid's track "Slow," featuring Anaiis Cardot, Omah Lay kept it simple with a relatable caption.

He captioned. "Life is good."

However, the other post quickly sparked conversation across social media, offering a deeper context of the importance of having the right information, and warning Nigerians to distance themselves from overly religious people, whom he described as "dumb."

He captioned,"The right information is key. Avoid over religius people, they are dumb. Love yourself. Raise your frequency, find the truth, it will set you free. Life is good."
