Comedian and skitmaker Lord Lamba has claimed that women who pay their own bills don’t listen to men.

He shared his thoughts in a post on X:

“If she is able to pay all her bills without your assistance, she cannot listen to you.”

The statement sparked mixed reactions from users.

One person responded: “Paying bills doesn’t cancel mutual respect. Independence is not a license for pride, and providing isn’t a ticket for control. Relationship na partnership not boss and employee vibes.”\

nother added: “A woman who truly loves you will naturally be supportive and submissive, whether or not she pays her own bills. Some women simply want to love and be loved in return.”

Several women disagreed with the claim. One wrote: “As I’m paying my bills by myself, you have to be doing more than just paying bills for me to take you serious.”

Another said: “It simply means she doesn’t love you. Well-to-do women submit to the men they love in real life, forget the social media brags.”
