Big Brother elicited strong emotions from viewers on Monday afternoon as the show remembered former residents who had passed away.
During the homage, Biggie brought together all of the current housemates while photographs of the late reality stars were projected on the screen, followed by a sorrowful minute of silence in their memory.
Francisca Owumi, Joseph Ada, and Rico Swavey have all passed away. Francisca Owumi, the runner-up of the first BBNaija season in 2006, was praised for her upbeat personality and outstanding dance talents. She died in August 2024, following a brief illness.
Joseph "Joe" Ada, also from the pioneer season (2006), was recognised for his calm strength and distinct personality. He died in May 2023 from an illness.
Rico Swavey (Patrick Fakoya) stood out during the Double Wahala season (2018), winning hearts with his warmth and talent. His unexpected death in October 2022, caused by an automobile accident, shocked his fans and followers.
Legit.ng recently reported that the Big Brother Naija eviction drama continued as fans bid farewell to two of their favourite housemates Ortega and Kayikunmi.
Show lovers were reeling from the latest exits, experiencing mixed emotions as contestants leave the house. The departures of Danboskid and Ibifubara last week set the stage for more drama, and now another set of housemates walked out the door.
Reactions poured in on social media, with fans sharing their thoughts and bidding goodbye to Kayikunmi and Ortega. This marks the third week in the house and the second round of evictions, as contestants continue to compete for the N150 million prize.
in loving memory
