Popular Nigerian music video director, TG Omori, has expressed shock over the staggering amount he has spent on medical treatment in the last six months.
The celebrated cinematographer, who has been battling kidney-related health challenges, took to social media on Sunday to share his experience in a series of posts on X.
In one of the posts shared, according to TG Omori, the money he spent already on treatment could have bought two Mercedes-Benz GLE SUVs and a C300.
"“Saw my 6months health expenses, Omo 2 GLE and one small C300 bro! Health is wealth true true." - He wrote.
In a follow-up post, TG Omori highlighted the high cost of dialysis treatment, revealing that each session costs over ₦100,000. He noted that some patients require up to three sessions a week, making it an overwhelming financial burden.
Reflecting on this, the director expressed heartbreak over how difficult it would be for the average Nigerian to cope if faced with such a health challenge.
"Dialysis is about 100k plus per session, sometimes you need 3 sessions in a week, minimum wage is 70k. Knowing this facts brought me tears in the hospital cause no hope for the common man."
I’m working on my first major glasses design that will be up on sale soon where some of the proceeds will go to people living with Kidney Diseases that can’t afford pay for their dialysis.”
