Multiple award-winning singer Davido has paid tribute to the late Sound Sultan in the music video for his new single, ‘10 Kilo.’

The track, taken from Davido’s recently released album ‘5ive,’ features a runway setting with plus-size women walking the stage. In one of the scenes, a picture of Sound Sultan appears in the background — a nod to the late artist’s enduring legacy.

Before his death in July 2021, Sound Sultan released ‘Orobo,’ a hit song featuring Flavour that celebrated body positivity and fuller-figured women. The thematic similarity between ‘Orobo’ and ‘10 Kilo’ has not gone unnoticed by fans, many of whom have praised Davido for the gesture.
