Afrobeats superstar Davido happily responded to criticisms of his white wedding in Miami, calling the ceremony “perfect” and saying it was “one of the best days” of his life.

The event, held in Miami, drew a notable attendance of celebrities, politicians, and influential figures from around the world. While most people praised the celebration as a stunning display of love, some online critics shared their opinions and pointed out a few aspects of the event that they found less than ideal.

Some of the drawbacks cited included poor management of the food service and the rumpled appearance of his wedding suit trousers.

Reacting, Davido took to X to address the negativity, confidently describing the wedding as a fairytale and sharing that he and his wife, Chioma Adeleke, are still filled with happiness from their special day.

“We had an amazing wedding, perfect in fact! Me and my wife body still dey sweet us like this… Nothing una fit do, say, or make up will ever change the fact that we had a fairytale wedding and one of the best days — if not the best day — of our lives! The whole world celebrated us!”
