Talent manager Ubi Franklin has shared a deeply emotional tribute to Chioma, wife of music superstar Davido, ahead of the couple’s white wedding.
In an Instagram post, Franklin opened up about how Chioma’s steadfast support carried him through a time of immense personal grief.
After losing his sister, he admitted he initially struggled with the idea of traveling to Miami for the wedding. However, Chioma’s constant calls and encouraging words gave him the strength to push forward.
He spoke warmly of her kindness and the close friendship they share, recalling how she would patiently stay on the phone with him during his darkest moments, reassuring him that “everything will be okay.”
In his touching message, Franklin offered heartfelt prayers for the couple’s marriage, wishing them blessings beyond measure. He added that missing their big day was never an option, emphasizing just how much Davido and Chioma’s bond means to him.
He wrote, "The Union God has blessed. ❤️ Because I am bereaved, I almost didn’t want to go all the way to miami in my trying time, Chioma made sure she called me everyday and sometimes just stay on the phone and hear me cry and then say “ubi everything will be ok” and because a lot has been put into this planning, I wouldn’t miss this wedding for anything and as we celebrate this beautiful union, I pray God Bless them beyond their imaginations.
