Actress and filmmaker, Mary Remmy Njoku, has cautioned people to cultivate the habit of developing their brain and investing in their skills.
In a post shared on her Instagram page, the actress mentioned that recently people have been undergoing plastic surgery to alter and improve their physical appearance.
Speaking about the rampant surgery, Mary Njoku has warned that while people are getting nose jobs and acquiring new boobs, they should set aside some budget for their personal growth.
“BBL is basically buy one, get one free.
You can't alter your brain, but you can develop it.
So while you’re busy getting a nose job and buying new boobs, make sure you set aside some budget for your personal growth.
Because a BBL without a brain? That’s a disaster waiting to happen.
SUBSTANCE over SURFACE.”
The filmmaker stated that beauty is not rare anymore as it can now be obtained with money as long as they can afford it.
However, she pointed out that what will make people stand out is their mind and encouraged them to build knowledge.
“But here’s the thing: beauty isn’t rare anymore. It’s not a big deal to be beautiful. Anyone with money can alter their looks. What will truly make you stand out is your mind. Develop your brain. Invest in your skills. Build your knowledge. Because while you can buy a new body, you can’t buy a new brain.”
