Senior Pastor of Household of Love Churches, Rev Yinka Yusuf, has reacted to a video of Anambra State Governor Charles Soludo embarrassing a gospel preacher in a market.
A video emerged of Soludo preventing an evangelist from preaching the gospel in the market. The governor slammed him, describing his actions as noise.
Displeased with Soludo’s move, Rev Yusuf questioned the governor’s decision to stop evangelists from spreading the word of God. He called Soludo arrogant and warned that he would regret calling the gospel noise.
He demanded that Soludo apologise to the young man, as he believed the governor would not make such a move against Muslims.
He said, “I heard the governor talk about evangelism. Those of you on social media, record this. Tell him I will deal with him. For somebody to call evangelism noise, he must apologise. What’s his name? Soludo, I will Ludo him. By the time I am done with that man, the man who opened his mouth to say the gospel is noise. Can he say that about Islam? Does he think the church is a herbalist that he is talking to? We are not herbalist. Charles Soludo, he will regret.
I’ve never seen someone be so arrogant. You come out in the market, a young boy was preaching, and he embarrassed him and said he was making noise. If you want to preach, preach in your church. God told us to take the gospel out of the church. Just because you are in a position for four years, doesn’t mean you will finish the four years.
Soludo, you will regret it. If you do not apologise, you will regret it. You call the gospel noise? You will see noise. My name is Rev Yinka Yusuf, I will make you make noise.”
