Taking to social media to share her thoughts, Mary mentioned that when she, as an up-and-coming filmmaker, inquired about the benefits of being a member of the Nollywood guilds and associations, she struggled to provide a clear answer.

She said, “what are the benefits of being part of Nollywood guilds and associations?” and “I’m struggling to give a clear answer.”

Mary then urged leaders and members of the Nollywood associations and guilds to help outline the benefits with supporting evidence.
