Mr Eazi reacts after X influencer called on Apple Music to investigate streams from Nigeria

Mr. Eazi Mr. Eazi

An X influencer identified as benny77g has raised concerns, calling out global music streaming platform, Apple Music, to investigate the streams coming from Nigeria.

The influencer believed that there have been a lot of suspicious activities surrounding the number of streams garnered by Nigerian artistes within minutes to hours of song release.

He instituted that bolts, what he called 'Stream farming" are now used to increase the number of streams on a song, which uncomfortably tops the Apple Music Chart.

The influencer wrote: DEAR @APPLEMUSIC, YOU REALLY NEED TO INVESTIGATE THE STREAMS COMING FROM NIGERIA. THERE IS A LOT OF STREAMS FARMING CURRENTLY GOING ON! 😡

On seeing his tweet, Mr Eazi responded, insisting that Nigerians are 'vibrant music consumers.'

Responding to the tweet, Mr Eazi's wrote: "There is nothing like streaming farming in Nigeria Please! No need for investigations we are a vibrant music consuming people hence the numbers you see! #BuyNigeria #MNGA."

The exchange has now generated widespread conversations online as fans continue to clash on Twitter.
