Nollywood actress Sarah Martins, has criticized Afrobeats singer Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, following his outburst with his colleague David Adeleke, aka Davido.

Martin, taking to the defense of Davido, said it was not his fault that his father is wealthy and that he did not ask Wizkid not to be from a wealthy background.

She claimed Wizkid is pained and needs to grow up. Other celebrities, including OAP Dotun, music executive Paulo Okoye and social media personality Daniel Regha have raised concerns over Wizkid’s rants.

The Grammy Award-winning singer began his outburst on Tuesday, October 1, after Davido released a snippet of his upcoming song on the same date Wizkid had chosen to release his song.

The rant dragged till Wednesday, October 2, as Wizkid described him as a talentless singer. He went on to brag about his musical prowess, thereby labelling himself the biggest Nigerian artiste.

Reacting to the recent feud, Sarah Martins wrote, “It’s obvious he’s pained cos David is a rich kid. Na Adeleke tell your papa make he no hustle??? Why are you so pained??? Wizzy grow up!!!!”
