Actor Uche Maduagwu has weighed in on the ongoing rift between Afrobeats artistes Wizkid and Davido.

Wizkid had taken to his social media page to express his displeasure with his colleague Davido after he released a snippet of his upcoming song on the same date he had chosen to release his song.

The Grammy Award-winning singer went on a rampage blasting Davido over his deal with Puma. He also described him as a talentless and cheap artiste.

Wizkid called himself the biggest musician in Nigeria, with several music albums to his name. He took a swipe at Davido’s uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke, blogger Tunde Ednut and comedian Basket Mouth.

The “Ojuelegba” hitmaker started his rant on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, and continued on Wednesday October 3, 2024.

Throughout the rants, Davido remained silent but took to his social media pages to share photos and videos of his new collection at Puma in New York. He also posted a clip from his song with South African artiste, Angelique Kidjo.

Reacting to the ongoing feud, controversial actor Uche Maduagwu took a subtle jab at Wizkid.

He wrote on his X page, “May God not ignore us like Davido 001 dey ignore Wizkid 003.”

His comment attracted several reactions from Nigerians.
